services during the revolutionary war.

WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of Maryland

for the purpose of promoting the education of poor and
|
 
|
orphan children, have granted an annual donation to
|
 
|
Saint John's Female Benevolent School and Orphan
|
 
|
Asylum, as well as to Saint John'.s Literary Institu-
|
 
|
tion, both in the city of Frederick; and whereas, the
|
 
|
property, real and personal of the several county
|
|
 |
