fifteenth day of December, eighteen hundred and thirty-

 

four.

 

No. 40.

 

Resolution in favor of Martha Jay, widow of Alexander

Passed Feb.24,1836

Lawson Smith.

 

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That

 

the treasurer of the Western Shore nay to Martha Jay,

 

widow of Alexander Lawson Smith, a soldier of the

 

revolution, the half pay of a captain, during her wi-

 

dowhood.

 

No. 41.

 

Resolution in favor of Milly Power.

Passed February 23

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That

 

the treasurer of the Western Shore pay to Milly Pow-

 

er, widow of Jesse Power, a soldier of the revolution,

 

or to her order, during her widowhood, a sum of mo-

 

ney equal to the half pay of a private, in consideration

 

of the services of her late husband.

Resolution in favor of Julia Remark.

Passed February 24

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That

 

the treasurer of the Western Shore, pay to Julia

 

Rouark, widow of James Rouark, a soldier of the revo-

 

lution, the half pay of a private, during her widowhood.

Resolution in favor of Mary Lynn.

Passed February 25

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That

 

the treasurer of the Western Shore pay to Mary Lynn,

 

widow of David Lynn, a captain in the revolutionary
