RESOLUTIONS. 1835.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That ————— the Register of the Land Office for the Western Shore, be, and he is hereby authorised and required to transcribe or cause to be transcribed, the before mentioned Record, or such part thereof, as in his judgment may be necessary for the preservation of the same, and that the Governor and Council be, and they are hereby authorised to allow him, such compensation therefor, to be paid out of any unappropriated money in the treasury, as he is by law entitled to for the like services.

Resolution in favour of Samuel Baldwin.

Passed Feb, 26,1836

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That

 

the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to Samuel

 

Baldwin, a soldier of the revolution, the half pay of a

 

private during his life.

Resolution relative to the establishing of a Navy

Passed Mach 4,

Yard, in the City of Baltimore.

 

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That

 

the representatives and senators of Maryland, in the

 

Congress of the United States, he requested to adopt

 

such means as to them may seem proper, calculated

 

to bring to the view of the General Government, the

 

propriety of establishing a navy yard in the city of

 

Baltimore, and the advantages possessed by said city

 

for such establishment,
