RESOLUTIONS.

of Harford county, with one copy of the laws of this State, for each year, from eighteen hundred and twenty-eight, to eighteen hundred and thirty-four, provided, such copies he surplus in the library. Resolved, That in case the said copies cannot he spared from the library, then and in that event the clerk of Harford county ho directed to deliver over to the judges of the orphan's court of said county, so many of said copies as may he found in his office not called for by justices of the peace of said county.

Resolution relating to the Poor School Fund, in Alle-

Passed Mar, ,1836

gany County.

 

WHEREAS, an order passed this House at the De-

 

cember session, eighteen hundred and thirty three, or-

 

dering and requiring the commissioners of Allegany

 

County, or in their recess, their clerk, to report to the

 

General Assembly, a fall report of the Poor School

 

Fund for said county; and whereas, a partial report

 

was made under said order, number , and further

 

time was prayed to complete said report; and whereas,

 

the good people of said county have prayed this legisla-

 

ture to have an investigation and report of said School

 

Fund: — Therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland,

 

That the commissioners of Allegany county, and Levi

 

Helleary, Michael C. Sprigg and Jonathan Butler

 

shall at the next meeting of said commissioners to make

 

the county levy, make a complete and full statement

 

and report of the state of the School Fund, from its

 

first establishment to the time of making said state-

 

ment and report, stating the amount received from the

 

State in each year, the loans made in each year, and to

 

whom made; the amount of interest paid for such loans

 

in each year, the sums deposited in various banks, or

 

rested in stocks at different times, the dividends re-

 

ceived on such deposits, on stocks in each year, together

 

with the sums deposited in each year, and to whom
