bank may thereupon go into operation.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That instead of the bonus

be paid by the president and directors of the Real

Estate Bank of Frederick county, the said president
|

and directors shall within sixty days after going into
|

operation, pay unto the Treasurer of the Western

Shore the sum of three and three-quarters per cent on
|
 
|
the cash capital of said hank paid in, and shall always
|
 
|
as the amount of cash capital is increased and paid in
|
 
|
by the sale of bonds or otherwise, pay the premium. at
|
 
|
the same rate on said increased cash capital.
|
 
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all provisions in said
|

the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 378.

An act to authorise James Gailbraith, of Cecil county,

to sell and convey a tract of land, therein mentioned.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That after the passage of this act, James
|

Gailbraith of Cecil county, be, and he is hereby fully

|
authorised and empowered to sell either at private or
|
 
|
public sale, and on such terms and conditions as he may
|
 
|
deem best, a tract of land lying in Cecil county, called
|
 
|
the Golden Key, containing one hundred acres, more or
|
 
|
less, whereof one Samuel Gailbraith, late of said county
|
 
|
died, siezed; and the same to convey and assure to the
|
 
|
purchaser or purchasers, his, her or their heirs and
|
 
|
assigns on the payment of the whole purchase money.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said James Gal-
