tive recepts under seal, shall be a full release and ac-

 

quittance to the said James Galbraith for their respec-

 

tive shares of the said residue.

Orphans Court

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the Orphan's Court

directed

of Cecil county, be, and they are hereby authorised

 

and required to take cognizance of said sale, and oth-

 

er the proceedings thereunder, required to he done he-

 

fore the said court by this act.

 

CHAPTER 379.

Passed May 27, 1836

A further additional supplement to an act, entitled, an

 

act to Incorporate a company, for the purpose of cut-

 

ting and making a Canal between the River Dela-

 

ware, and the Chesapeake Bay.

Authorised to fund

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

their debti

Maryland, That it shall and may he lawful for the

 

Chesapeake and Delaware Canal Company to fund all

 

the debts now due by said company to creditors, whose

 

debts are secured or supposed to be so, by judgment or

 

mortgages, or are evidenced by certificates issued by

 

said company, or due in any other way, or for any cause

Including J. Ran-

or contract whatsoever, including the judgment obtain-

dall's claim

ed be John Randel, Junior, against the said company,

 

in the superior Court of the State of Delaware, for two

 

hundred and twenty-six thousand, eight hundred and
