such sale, and shall under the direction of the said

ble expenses heretofore paid and borne by the said

James Galbraith, for repairs, et cetera, to the said

tract of land, make equal distribution of the residue of

said purchase money among the several surviving rela-

tives of the said Samuel Galbraith, deceased, in the
|
 
|
manner now provided by law for the division and dis-
|
 
|
tribution of the personal estate of persons dying in-
|
 
|
testate in this State, whether such relatives shall be
|
 
|
citizens of the United States, or aliens, whose respec-
|
 
|
tive recepts under seal, shall be a full release and ac-
|
 
|
quittance to the said James Galbraith for their respec-
|
 
|
tive shares of the said residue.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the Orphan's Court
|
directed
|
of Cecil county, be, and they are hereby authorised
|
 
|
and required to take cognizance of said sale, and oth-
|
 
|
er the proceedings thereunder, required to he done he-
|
 
|
fore the said court by this act.

A further additional supplement to an act, entitled, an

|
act to Incorporate a company, for the purpose of cut-
|
 
|
ting and making a Canal between the River Dela-
|
 
|
ware, and the Chesapeake Bay.
|
Authorised to fund
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
their debti
|
Maryland, That it shall and may he lawful for the
|
 
|
Chesapeake and Delaware Canal Company to fund all
|
 
|
the debts now due by said company to creditors, whose
|
 
|
debts are secured or supposed to be so, by judgment or
|
 
|
mortgages, or are evidenced by certificates issued by
|
 
|
said company, or due in any other way, or for any cause
|

in the superior Court of the State of Delaware, for two
