CHAP. 377.

and may be lawful for John Mullen, of Montgomery

 

.county, to take and use, in lieu of his said name, John

 

Mullen, the name of Samuel Milford, and all acts,

 

done or to be done by him in said last mentioned name

 

shall be valid to all intents and purposes; and in the

 

same he may contract, sue and be sued, and do all acts

 

not contrary to the laws of this State; and the family

 

and children of said Mullen shall hereafter be known

 

and called by the name of Milford, which the may use

 

in the manner given to John Mullen by this act.

 

CHAPTER 376.

Passed June 4, 1836

A supplement to the act, entitled, an act to authorise the

 

Governor and Council to build a new Tobacco Inspec-

 

tion Warehouse in the City of Baltimore, passed at

 

the present Session.

Treasurer not to negotiate loan

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That so much of the second section of the

 

the original act as authorises and requires the Trea-

 

surer of the Western Shore to negotiate the loan there-

 

ein mentioned, be, and is hereby repealed.
