CHAP. 374.

together with an estimate of the damages sustained by any person or persons whose land may be taken, laid

 

out and appropriated as aforesaid,

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the commissioners

 

hereinbefore appointed to condemn and locate said

 

landing, are hereby required to return a true estimate

 

of the costs of such condemnation and location of the

 

aforesaid lot of ground or landing, to the levy court of

Levy directed

said comity, whose duty it shall be to levy the same on

 

the assessable property of St. Mary's county, at the

 

first annual levy thereafter, to be collected as other

 

county levies are now collected and paid to the person

 

or persons entitled to receive the same.

A supplement to an act, entitled, an act to Incorporate

 

the Eastern Shore Rail Road Company.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That in addition to the commissioners na-

 

med in the second section of the act to which this is a

 

supplement, the following persons be, and the same

 

are hereby appointed: that is to say, for Cecil county,

 

Henry Hollingsworth, John Groome, Dr. Amos A.

 

Evans; for Kent county, James F. Brown, Hugh Wal-

 

lis and Barney D. Course; for Queen Ann's county,

 

Peregrime Wilmer, Thomas Emory and George New-

 

nam; for Caroline county, Thomas S. Carter, Caleb

 

P. Davis and Philomon Skinner; for Talbot county,

 

John Leeds Kerr, Lambert W. Spencer and William

 

H. Tilghman; for Dorchester county, William J.

 

Ford, Dr. Joseph Nicols, and Samuel Sewell; for So-

 

merset county, John Dennis, Edward Long and Lit-

 

tleton D. Teackle; for Worcester county, Samuel R.

 

Smith, John W. Dennis, Dr. John S. Martin, and

Receive subscrip-tions to capital

who or any of them, may act, cither separately or con-

stock

jointly, with any one or both of the persons named as

 

aforesaid, in the said act, for receiving subscriptions.

 

and otherwise proceeding as prescribed in the said act;
