SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the commissioners
|

of Baltimore county, he, and they hereby are authoris-

ed and directed at their next annual levy, to levy on
|
 
|
the assesablc property of said county, the sum of five
|

hundred dollars to be collected in like manner as other
|
 
|
county charges, and paid to the order of said commis-
|
 
|
sioners hereinbefore first named, or a majority of them,
|
 
|
for the purposes of said Bridge, which, when comple-
|
 
|
ted shall be preserved and repaired in like manner as
|
 
|
is directed by law in relation to other public bridges in
|
 
|
said county.
|
 
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That if any vacancy
|

shall occur among the said commissioners first hercin-

bcfor named, by death, resignation or otherwise, before
|
 
|
the completion of said Bridge, the county commission-
|
 
|
ers shall have full power to supply such vacancy.
|
 
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That when the said Bridge
|

shall have been completed, the commissioners hereby
|
 
|
appointed, or a majority of them, shall render to the
|
 
|
commissioners of said county a fair and explicit state-
|
 
|
ment of the sums expended in the erection of said
|
 
|
Bridge, together with the vouchers for the same, and if
|
 
|
any surplus shall then remain in their hands of the
|
 
|
sum hereby appropriated, the same shall be paid over
|
 
|
to the said county commissioners to be applied to the
|
 
|
payment of the public charges of said county.
