Passed Feb. 13,1838

An act to repeal an act, entitled, an act regulating Fences

 

in Dorchester and Caroline counties, passed at De-

 

cember session, eighteen hundred and thirty-three,

 

chapter one hundred and nineteen, and the supplement

 

thereto, passed at December session, eighteen hundred

 

and thirty-four, chapter two hundred and twenty-

 

five, so far as they relate to Dorchester county.

Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,

 

That the act, entitled, an act regulating Fences in

 

Dorchester and Caroline counties, passed at December

 

session, eighteen hundred and thirty-three, chapter one

 

hundred and nineteen, and the supplement thereto,

 

passed at December session, eighteen hundred and

 

thirty-four, chapter two hundred and twenty-five, be

 

and the same are hereby repealed, so far as they re-

 

late to Dorchester county.

 

CHAPTER 58.

Passed Feb 18,1838

An act to provide for the building a Bridge over the

 

Western Run, in Baltimore county, at a place therein

 

mentioned.

Preamble

WHEREAS, it appears to this General Assembly from

 

the petitions of sundry citizens of Baltimore county,

 

that they suffer great inconvenience and difficulty, he-

 

cause of the want of a Bridge over that part of the

 

Western Run, in said county, crossed by the public

 

road on the farm of Nathaniel Childs. — Therefore,

Commissioners to build

SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That Nathaniel Childs, Zachariah Cole,

 

and Nicholas M. Bosley, of said county, be, and they

 

hereby are appointed commissioners for the purpose of

 

building a bridge over said run, at or near the place

 

where the public road crosses the same, on the farm

 

occupied by Nathaniel Childs, and the said commis-

 

sioners, or a majority of them, are by this act empow-

 

ered and authorized to agree and contract with any
