the above price of one hundred dollars, then, that the sheriff of Baltimore county shall summon a jury to value

CHAP. 54.

said lot of ground which valuation shall be returned to

 

the commissioners of Baltimore county, and if approv-

 

ed by them, and upon payment of said valuation to the

 

owner or owners of said lot of ground, then the said

 

lot of ground shall be condemned as a public landing.

 

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the commissioners

said to locate the public landing as herein before pro-

 

vided, be, and they are hereby authorised and required

 

to lay oat, locate and open a public road from said

 

landing when the same shall have been located as afore-

 

said, to some convenient point on the nearest public or

 

county road in the vicinity of said landing, so located

 

as aforesaid, and the said commissioners shall make a

 

return thereof to the county commissioners as is now

 

required by the existing laws as regards the opening

 

of public roads in said county, and the said commis-

 

sioners shall be entitled to the same compensation for

missioners under the existing laws, to lay out and open

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the commissioners

the sum of money necessary to carry into effect the

 

provisions of this act; provided the amount for opening
