CHAP. 46.

and directed to appoint a commissioner or commission-

ers, in place of any of the said commissioners herein
|
|
named, who may die, resign, refuse or fail to act in
|
|
said commission.

|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That if this act shall
|
|
be confirmed hy the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
after the next election of delegates to the General As-
|
|
sembly, at the first session after such new election, as
|
|
the constitution and form of government of this State
|
|
directs; in such case this act and the alterations of the
|
|
constitution therein contained, shall constitute and be
|
|
valid as a part of said constitution and form of govern-
|
|
ment, to all intents and purposes, any thing therein
|
|
contained to the contrary notwithstanding.
|
Compensation
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the commissioners,
|
|
herein authorised to be appointed, shall be entitled to
|
|
receive such compensation for their services as the
|
|
commissioners of Allegany county may deem reasona-
|
|
ble, not exceeding the sum of two dollars per day, for
|
|
every day they shall be necessarily employed in the
|
|
discharge of the duties required by this act.

That Andrew Young, of the city of Baltimore, be and

he is hereby divorced from his wife, Maria Young,

a vinculo matrimonii.
