Levy

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the commissioners

 

of Baltimore county and of Anne Arundel county, be,

 

and they are hereby authorised and required at their

 

next annual levies, to levy upon the assessable proper-

 

ty of said counties, the sum of five hundred dollars,

 

exclusive of the commissions allowed for collection, to

 

he applied to the building of the bridge aforesaid, one

 

moiety of which sum of money shall be levied on the

 

assessable property of Baltimore county, and the other

 

on that of Anne Arundel county, which said assessment

 

shall be made, levied and collected, in the same manner

 

that other county levies are made in said counties re-

spectively, and when collected shall be paid over by

 

the commissioners of said counties respectively to the

 

commissioners hereby appointed, to contract for and su-

 

perintend the building of the bridge aforesaid, or to

 

their order, as the case may be, as soon as the same

 

shall be levied and collected as aforesaid.

Vacancy, how filled

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That in case of the death,

 

resignation or refusal to act of any of the commission-

 

ers herein named, the commissioners of Baltimore or

 

Anne-Arundel county, as the case may be, shall ap-

 

point some suitable person, resident of the county in

 

which he was a commissioner, to act in his place, and

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the said commission-

sioners of Baltimore and Anne Arundel counties respec-

 

tively, at their next meeting after the completion of

 

said bridge, or within six months thereafter, a full and

 

fair account of all the monies by them expended in build-

 

ing and completing said bridge by virtue of this act, with

 

the vouchers for the same, and the commissioners of
