SEC. 15. And be it enacted, That at any time here-

by the Legislature, to a denomination not less than that

of the notes or issues of any other incorporated bank

within this State, the lowest denomination of whose

notes, or issues shall be above five dollars.

SEC. 16. And be it enacted, That this State reserves

An act to authorise the building a Bridge over the west-

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assem-
|

bly of Maryland, by the petition of sundry citizens of

|
Baltimore and Anne Arundel counties, that they suffer
|
 
|
great inconvenience for the want of a bridge over the
|
 
|
western branch of the Patapsco Falls, at Sykesville: —
|
 
|
Therefore,
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
Commissioners
|
Maryland, That George Patterson, William Warfield,
|
 
|
and John Hipsley, of Baltimore county, and James
|
 
|
Sykes, Benjamin Hood, Senior, and Dr. R. D. Hew-
|
 
|
itt, of Anne Arundel counties, be, and they are hereby
|
 
|
appointed commissioners, and they or a majority of
|
 
|
them, are hereby authorised and empowered, to con-

tract fol, superintend and direct the building of a

bridge over the western branch of the Patapsco Falls,

at the most suitable point at Sykesville, so as to. unite

the public road of Anne Arundel with that of Balti-

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty

jority of them, to examine and fix on the most suitable

site for the erection of said bridge, and to ascertain
