corporation, — Therefore:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
Incorporated
|
Maryland, That the said trustees above named, and
|
 
|
their successors, shall he a body corporate, and shall
|
 
|
have perpetual succession by the name and style of the
|
 
|
Trustees of the Darlington Academy, and by that name
|

may sue and he sued, and have a corporate seal, which

|
they may break, alter and change at pleasure, may
|

hold property to an amount not exceeding five thousand

dollars, and dispose of the same, may make by-laws

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That when a vacancy

by an election, and at such election every free white
|

citizen that may have contributed to the building of
|
 
|
said academy to the amount of ten dollars, or do con-
|
 
|
tribute to the support of said academy, shall be entitled

to vote for trustees at such elections.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That if any trustee shall
