LAWS OF MARYLAND.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That if this act shall he

confirmed by the General Assembly of Maryland, after

 

the next election of delegates to the, General Assembly

 

at the first session after such new election, as the con-

 

stitution and form of government of this State directs,

 

in such case this act and the alteration of the consti-

 

tution herein contained, shall constitute and be valid

 

as a part of said constitution and form of government

 

to all intents and purposes, any thing therein contained

 

to the contrary notwithstanding.

SEC. 3. Add be it enacted, That if this act shall he

lay off new dis-trict

confirmed according to the provisions of the constitu-

 

tion and form of government, in such case made and

 

provided, Isaac Houston, Jeptha Morris and Isaac

 

Hearn, of Worcester county, he. and they are hereby

 

appointed commissioners, and authorised forthwith after

 

the said confirmation, to review the sixth election dis-

 

trict of said county, and to lay off, locate, and estab-

 

lish an additional electirn district, out of the said sixth

 

election district in said county as aforesaid; and said

 

commissioners shall make a return of ail their pro-

 

ceedings to the levy court of Worcester county, to be

 

there recorded at, the expense of the county, and paid

directed to appoint commissioner or commissioners, in

 

place of any of the commissioners herein named, who

 

may die, resign, or refuse, or fail to act in said com-

 

mission.

Compensation to

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the commissioners

herein authorised to be appointed, shall he entitled to

 

receive such compensation for their services as the levy

 

court of Worcester county may deem reasonable, not

 

exceeding the sum of two dollars per day, for every

 

day they shall be necessarily employed in the discharge
