of Richard Webb, Samuel Barrett, Moses Coker and

diaries Williams, free persons of color, of Dorchester,

Harford, Caroline and Talbot counties, passed, al De-
|
 
|
cember session, eighteen hundred and thirty -four,
|
 
|
chapter one hundred and eighty-seven.
|
 
|
WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assem-
|

bly that the first or Christian name Richard, as ex-
|
 
|
pressed in the original act to which this is a supple-
|
 
|
ment, is not the true and lawful name of said Webb,
|
 
|
but that Ricksom Webb is his true and lawful name: —
|
 
|
Therefore,
|
 
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
Name changed
|
That the name Richard Webb, be, and it is hereby al-
|
 
|
tered and changed to Ricksom Webb, his true and law-
|
 
|
ful name, and under said name, he shall be entitled to
|
 
|
all the privileges and benefits intended to be conferred
|
 
|
on him by the aforesaid act, under the name of Richard
|
 
|
Webb.

SECTION 1. Be it enactedby the General Assembly of
|
May surrender

Maryland, That it shall and may be lawful for the
|
 
|
President and Directors of the Columbia Turnpike
|
 
|
Road Company, to surrender in writing signed and
|
 
|
legally sealed by the proper officer of said company,
|
 
|
unto Anne Arundel county all that part of said Turn-
|
 
|
pike road, and the bridges thereon, lying between the
|
 
|
bridge on the Little Patuxent and the Big Patuxent
|
 
|
|
