SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That the commissioners

it expedient and for the interest of the inhabitants of

 

Worcester county, to carry into effect the provisions

 

of this act, be and they are hereby authorised to ap-

 

point a committee or committees, agent or agents, of

 

their own body or otherwise, to contract for the said

 

land, and to contract for and superintend the erection

 

of the necessary buildings and improvements thereon,

Furnish, &c.

and to provide suitable furniture, tools, farming stock,

 

and implements of husbandry, and whose duty it shall

 

be to make a full and fair report of their proceedings

 

to the said commissioners, or a majority of them, at

 

their general meetings, whenever required so to do.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the said commis-

 

sioners, or a majority of them, be and they are hereby

 

authorised and empowered to borrow from time to time,

 

and upon such terms as they may deem proper, at a

 

rate of interest not exceeding six per cent per an-

 

num, any sum or sums of money that may be required

 

and found necessary to carry into effect the provisions

 

of this act; Provided, the same shall not exceed the

 

sum of fifteen thousand dollars.

Levy directed

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the levy court of

 

Worcester county, are hereby authorised and required

 

to levy annually upon the assessable property of Wor-

 

cester county, such sum or sums of money as they in

 

their judgment may deem best, not exceeding the sum

 

of two thousand dollars, nor less than one thousand

 

dollars, until the whole sum which the said commis-

 

sioners, or a majority of them, may require, for the

 

purchase of the said land, and to erect thereon suitable
