CHAPTER 190.

 

A» act to divorce Mary Hammer, of the City of Balti-

more, from her husband James J. Hammer.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of

'Divorce

Maryland, That Mary Hammer, of the city of Balti-

 

more, be, and she is hereby divorced a vinculo matri-

 

monii, from her husband James J. Hammer.

 

SEC. 2. A?id be it enacted, That the said James J.

Liabilities annulled

Hammer shall not be liable for any debt to be hereaf-

 

ter contracted by the said Mary Hammer, nor be en-

 

titled to any property or estate, which she may here-

 

after, acquire.

 

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That nothing in this act

Inheritance

shall be so construed as to effect the legitimacy of any

 

children of the said James J. Hammer and Mary Ham-

 

mer, or to prevent him, her, or them, from inheriting

 

property, real or personal, in the same manner as if

 

this act had not passed.

 

CHAPTER 191.

 

An act to authorise the commissioners of Cecil County to

Passed Mar.25,1836

levy a sum of money for the purpose of erecting ad-

 

ditional buildings to the Aims house of said county.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Levy authorised

Maryland, That the commissioners of Cecil county,

 

be, and they are hereby authorised and empowered at

 

their discretion to levy on the assessable property of

 

said county in addition to the levy now authorised by

 

law, a sum of money not exceeding fifteen hundred

 

dollars for the purpose of erecting an additional buil-
