ratt, that shall be acquired by him after the passage

of this act.

Guardianship

SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That the said Elizabeth

Silratt, be and she is hereby declared to be entitled to

the custody and guardianship of her children by her

present marriage, during said children's minority.

CHAPTER 188.

Passed Mar.24,1836

A supplement to an act, entitled, an act for building a

Bridge over Deer Creek, in Harford County, passed

December session, eighteen hundred and thirty-two,

chapter one hundred and thirty-six.

Pier dispensed with

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That all that part of the first section of the

act, to which this is a supplement, that requires a pier

to be erected in the middle of said bridge, be, and the

same is hereby repealed.

Additional levy

of SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the commissioners

400 dollars

of Harford county, at their next annual levy, are here-

by authorised and directed to levy, and cause to be paid

over to the bridge commissioners named in the original

act, the sum of four hundred dollars in addition to that

raised by the original act, and to be by them applied

to building of said bridge.

Surplus

SEC. 3. A?id be it enacted, That if there should re-

main a surplus after the completion of the bridge, said

surplus shall be paid over to the commissioners of the

county to be applied by them to county purposes.
