CHAP. 134

act, the members of Washington Lodge No. fifty nine

of free and accepted Masons; Provided, they shall first

cause a meeting of their members in said lodge room

 

or rooms, for the purpose of selecting not less than

 

three from their body, and when such section shall

 

hereafter he made, those selected shall be styled a com-

 

mittee, and shall have full power to fill all vacancies

 

that may occur by death, resignation or refusal to act

as such, then said committee shall he vested with all

 

the incorporated powers now vested in the members of

 

said lodge by the act to which this is a supplement, and

 

are hereby authorised to collect all money that may

 

be due said lodge, when collected shall pay over the

 

same by making an equal dividend amongst the differ-

 

ent subscribers, agreeably to their several subscrip-

 

tions for building said lodge.

Central of room, &c.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That hereafter the com-

 

missioners of said Village shall have no control over

 

said lodge room or rooms in said Village, provided

 

said lodge shall hereafter go down or fail to carry on

 

their opperations as such, but the said committee shall

 

hereafter rent out said lodge room or rooms, and apply

 

the proceeds as directed by the act to which this is a

 

supplement, any provisions in any law to the contrary

 

notwithstanding.

 

CHAPTER 134.

Massed Mar.13,1836

Aw act to straighten, widen and alter certain streets or

 

roads, in and leading from the Town of Cumberland.

D. Shrivcrauthori-sed to alter, &tc.

SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That David Shriver, be, and he is hereby

 

authorised to straighten, widen and alter the location

 

of the following streets or roads, so far as the same pass

 

through his lands, that is to say, the street or road

 

commonly called Mill street, leading from Bedford

 

street to the said Shriver's mill, and the street or road

 

leading and extending from said mill towards John

 

Hays' mill, and that the. said David Shriver shall he
