Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

Place prescribed

That from and after the passage of this act, the place

 

of holding the Polls of the first election district of 'Bal-

 

timore county, be removed to the tavern near the se-

 

venth mile stone on the Frederick turnpike road, for-

 

merly occupied by Abraham De Groff, and at present

 

by P. F. Friesting.

 

CHAPTER 126.

 

An act for the benefit of James M. Briscoc, Mary A.

Passed Mar. 9, 1836

Briscoe, Andrew J. Briscoe and Lucy B. Briscoc, mi-

 

nors, of Scott county, in the State of Kentucky.

 

WHEREAS, it. appears to this General Assembly, by

Preamble

the memorial of Mary Briscoe, of Scott county, in the

 

State of Kentucky, that her children. James M. Bris-

 

coe, Mary A. Briscoe, Andrew J. Briscoe and Lucy

 

B. Briscoe, minors, are entitled, severally and respec-

 

tively, to certain money accruing from the estate of

 

Susanna Bruner, late of Frederick county, deceased,

 

and now in the hands of Daniel Duvall, of said last

 

mentioned county, her executor, ready for payment

 

over to any person or persons who may he authorised

 

to give him a valid acquitance thereof; And whereas, it

 

is represented that said minors are residing with their

 

said mother in Scott county aforesaid, and that with a

 

view to the receipt of said money she has been appoint-

 

ed, by the court of Scott county aforesaid, the guardian

 

of her said children, and given bond as such, agreeably

 

to the laws of the State of Kentucky, with approved

 

sureties, and as it appears right and proper that the

 

estate of said minors should be placed under the con-

 

rol of the court, within whose jurisdiction they re-

 

side : — Therefore,

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Payment over au-

Maryland, That the orphans court of Frederick county,

be and is hereby authorised and empowered to order

 

and direct the payment over, to said Mary Briscoe, of
