SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said commis-

 

sioners shall keep an accurate account of the money

 

expended in erecting said bridge, and in Cas6 there

 

be any money left unexpended after the building of the

 

said bridge, the same shall be returned to the commis-

 

sioners of Baltimore county to be applied for the

 

benefit of said county.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That a majority of said

 

bridge commissioners shall be competent to transact

 

any business relating to said bridge, and if either of

 

said commissioners shall die, resign, or remove out of

 

said county, the commissioners of Baltimore county

 

shall fill up such vacancies, and the said bridge com-

 

missioners shall receive no remuneration for their ser-

 

vices, unless the commissioners of Baltimore county

 

shall think it proper to allow them a reasonable com-

 

pensation.

Levy and payment

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the commissioners

 

of Baltimore county be and they are hereby authorised

 

and required to levy upon the assessable property of

 

said county, the above sum of five hundred dollars,

 

and pay the same over to said bridge commissioners,

 

and that the said commissioners shall be held accoun-

 

table to the commissioners of Baltimore county, for

 

the respective sums of money placed in their hands for

 

the faithful expenditure therof in the building of said

 

bridge.

Publication direct-ed

SEC. 5, And be it enacted, That the said bridge

 

commissioners shall publish for two weeks in two daily

 

newspapers of the city Baltimore, that they will re-

 

ceive proposals for the building of said bridge.
