hands and seals duly acknowledged and recorded among
the land records of Baltimore county, and of Harford
county, in conformity to the mode of acknowledging and
recording conveyances of real estate under the existing

laws of this state; And provided also, that nothing in this
act contained shall be held or construed to divest or affect
any right of third persons not parties herein mentioned.

CHAPTER 82.

 

A further additional supplement to an act entitled, An act
for the revaluation and reassessment of the real and per-
sonal properly within this state, so far as the same relates
to Caroline county, passed at December session, eighteen
hundred and twelve, chapter one hundred and ninety-one.

Passed Feb. 10, 1832

Section 1. Be it enacted by General Assembly of Mary-
land, That from and after the passage of this act, the fol-
lowing persons shall be, and they are hereby appointed
commissioners of the tax for Caroline county, viz. Robert
Orrill, William Thawley, Abel Gouty, Willis Charles and
Durden Culbreth, who are hereby authorised and empower-
ed, to carry into full effect and operation, all the provisions
of the act to which this is a further additional supplement.

Sec. 2 And be it enacted, That the commissioners of the
tax for said county be, and they are hereby authorised and
empowered, to meet at the court house, in Denton, in said
county, on the second Monday in March, in the year oi Our
Lord, eighteen hundred and thirty two, or as soon thereafter
as they may have notice of this act, and as often thereafter
as shall be necessary for the completion of their respective
duties, and then and there proceed to appoint two sensible
discreet persons, residents of said county, one of whom
shall reside in the upper, and the other in the lower dis-
trict of said county, whose duty it shall be, to proceed
together, as assessors, to revalue and reassess the real and
personal property within said county, agreeably to the pro-
visions of the act to which this is a further additional sup-
plement.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the said commissioners
shall appoint a place and day, between the fifteenth day
of May, and the fifteenth day of June, in the year afore-
said, for the assessors, to appear and present to them, in
writing, the valuation and assessment of the real and per-
