CHAPTER 73.

An act to authorise the rebuilding of a Bridge over Cone-
wingo Creek, at or near Abijah Fenn's, in Cecil County.
|

|
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That James Preston, Washington Hall and Abijah
Fenn, be and they are hereby authorised and appointed
commissioners to build abridge over the Conewingo Creek,
at or near Abijah Fenn's, in Cecil county; that they, or a
majority of them shall, on or before the first day of May
next, issue proposals by advertisement, for the building of
said bridge in a good and substantial manner, and contract
therefor.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the commissioners of Ce-
cil county, at their next levy shall at their discretion, levy
such sum of money, as they deem sufficient for the building
of said bridge, not exceeding the sum of eight hundred dol-
lars, to be levied and collected as other county taxes are,
and when so collected shall be paid over to the commis-
sioners aforesaid, for the payment of the building of said
bridge.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the commissioners of Ce-
cil county shall not levy more than the one half of said sum
in any one year.

An act supplementary to the act entitled, An act to lay out
and open a road from Harm's Old Field, in Baltimore
county, to Lisbon, in Anne Arundel county, passed at
December session, eighteen hundred and twenty-nine.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assembly,
that Nicholas D. Warfield, one of the commissioners ap-
pointed under the act to which this is a supplementary act,
has removed from Baltimore county: — Therefore,

Zachariah H. Worthington, of Baltimore county, be and
