Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the

|
treasurer of the western shore, pay to Leonard Bean, of
|
 
|
Mason county, Kentucky, a soldier of the revolutionary
|
 
|
war, or to his order, during life, in half yearly payments, a
|
 
|
sum of money equal to the half pay of a private, as a fur-
|
 
|
ther remuneration for his services during the revolutionary
|
 
|
war.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland , That the

armourer at Annapolis, be, and he is hereby required, to de-
|
 
|
liver to Captain Henry H. Johns, of Harford county, a num-
|
 
|
ber of swords and pistols, not exceeding fifty of each, with
|
 
|
appropriate accoutrements, which the said armourer may
|
 
|
select, on his giving such security for the safe keeping and
|
 
|
return of the same, as the governor and council may re-
|
 
|
quire:

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the

governor and council be, and they are hereby authorised
|
 
|
and directed, to allow to the clerk of the court of appeals
|
 
|
for the western shore, such compensation as to them may
|
 
|
seem right, for making an alphabetical index to the extracts
of deeds or other papers, which by law passed at this ses-
|
 
|
sion, he is directed to make for such deeds or other extracts
|
 
|
relating to Saint Mary's county, any law passed at this ses-
|
 
|
sion, to the contrary notwithstanding.
