RESOLUTIONS.

 

funds have been placed in the hands of those who acted in

 

behalfof the State, which, by agreement, ought to have

 

been applied to the payment of the interest due; and it is

 

represented that the aforesaid administratrix and adminis-

 

rator, are willing to pay all the balance of the principal of

 

said debt as may appear to be due on the books of the trea-

 

surer, with all the costs and commission of said suit, in the

 

county aforesaid, if they are released from the interest that

 

has accrued on the debt — Therefore,

 

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That if

 

the said Nancy Stallings, as administratrix, and Lloyd Stall-

 

ings, as administrator, of the estate of Thomas Stallings,

 

late of Allegany county, deceased, shall pay over, without

 

delay, to the treasurer of the western shore, the balance of

 

principal, as well as all costs, and commission, that may

 

appear to be due from the securities of Thomas Pollard,

 

late sheriff of Allegany county, on the accounts for the year

 

1813; then, and in that case, they, each and every of them,

 

as securities for said Thomas Pollard, their heirs, executors,

 

and administrators, are hereby released, exonerated, and

 

forever discharged from any and all claim of interest that

 

may have accrued on the balance of the account for the

 

year 1813, aforesaid, due the State of Maryland.

Resolution in favour of Mrs. Mary C. Shryer.

 

Resolved by the General Assembly oj Maryland, That the

 

treasurer of the western shore, pay to Jacob Lantz, for the

 

use of Mrs. Mary C. Shryer, of Allegany county, as the

 

next and near friend of Mrs. Mary A. Kershner, deceased,

 

late a pensioner of the state, the sum of fourteen dollars

 

and fifty-five cents, the balance due up to her decease.

Passed Mar. 5,1832

Resolution in favour of James Harvey.

 

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the

 

commissioners of Harford county, be, and they are hereby

 

authorised, to levy on said county, and cause to be collected

 

and paid, to James Harvey, of said county, any sum not
