RESOLUTIONS.

 

That nothing herein contained shall be construed to release

 

the right of the state, to any property, real or personal,

 

which has already been taken in execution of the said Ro-

 

bert C. Lusby, or his securities; And provided also, That

 

this resolution shall not take effect unless the securities of

 

the said Robert C. Lusby and the executors or administra-

 

tors Of such of them, as may be dead, shall certify in writ-

 

ing, to the clerk of Cecil county, their assent thereto, on or

 

before the tenth day of April next.

Passed Mar.9, 1832

Resolution authorising the Governor and Council to con-

 

tract for repairs of the House of Delegates.

 

Resolved ly the General Assembly of Maryland, That

 

the governor and council, be, and they are hereby authori-

 

sed to contract for such new furniture and repairs, as in

 

their judgment may seem necessary and proper in the

 

House of Delegates, and to draw upon the treasurer of the

 

western shore, for such sum or sums of money, as may be

 

necessary to carry this resolution into effect, before the

 

meeting of the next General Assembly; Provided, The sum

 

shall not exceed two hundred dollars.

Resolution directing the Treasurer to retain in the Treasury

 

the additional donation granted to Calvert county, for the

 

use of Colleges and Academies.

 

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the

 

treasurer of the western shore retain in the treasury the ad-

 

ditional donation granted to Calvert county, for the use of

 

colleges and academies, at the present session; and that no

 

part thereof be considered as belonging to Lower Marlbro'

 

Academy, until further enactment by the general assembly.
