RESOLUTIONS.

1831.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That

 

all the claims, demand, right, title and interest of the

 

state of Maryland, of, in, to or upon the land called Com-

 

mon Garden Corrected, formerly held by William Osborn,

 

of Harford county, deceased, mentioned in the report of

 

the late state's agent, made to the legislature at December

 

session, eighteen hundred and twenty-two, be and the same

 

are hereby absolutely relinquished.

 

No. 49.

 

Resolution in favor of Lieutenant Benjamin Seegar.

Passed Feb.28,1832

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That

 

the armourer at Annapolis, be, and he is hereby required to

 

deliver to Lieutenant Benjamin Seegar, of Queen Anne's

 

county, a number of swords and pistols, not exceeding fifty

 

of each, with appropriate accoutrements which the said

 

armourer may select, on his giving such security for the

 

safe keeping and return of the same as the governor and

 

council may require.

Resolution in favor of Captain John B. Thomas.

Passed Mar. 2. 1832

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That

 

the armourer at Annapolis, be, and he is hereby required to

 

deliver to captain John B. Thomas, of Queen Anne's coun-

 

ty, a number of rifles, not exceeding fifty, with appropriate

 

accoutrements which the said armourer may select, on his

 

giving such security for the safe keeping and return of the

 

same as the governor and council may require.

Resolution in favor of Lieutenant Arnold Jacobs.

Passed Mar. 2,1832

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That

 

the armorer at Annapolis, be, and he is hereby required to
deliver to lieutenant Arnold Jacobs, of Queen Anne's coun-
