Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the president and directors of the Neptune Insurance Com-

them for premiums and interest, or dividends on their in-

 

vestments to the payment only of losses and charges in the

 

first instance; and to make up the amount of their original

 

capital, when it shall sustain any diminution by such losses;

 

and shall make such dividends of their clear net profits,

 

from time to time, as they shall judge expedient; any thing

 

in the original act to which this is a supplement to the con-

 

trary notwithstanding; reserving and applying however,

 

one third of such nett profits, toward the addition to the

 

said original capital, in manner and subject to the limitations

 

as provided in that respect, by the act to which this is a

 

supplement.
