CHAP.253

ratory within the limits of the city of Baltimore, without

   
 

the consent of the mayor and city council of Baltimore first
bad and obtained, and the said mayor and city council are

 

hereby empowered to provide by ordinance for preventing

 

the erection of any such laboratory, and for removing or

 

preventing the use of any that shall be erected, after the

 

passage of this act, and the publication thereof in at least

 

two newspapers in the city of Baltimore.

 

CHAPTER 253.

Passed Mar.9,1832.

An act f or the revaluation of real and personal property, in

 

Dorchester county.

Direction to com-
missioners.

Section 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the commissioners of the tax for Dorchester

 

county, be, and they are hereby authorised and directed im-

 

mediately after the passage of this act, or as soon thereafter

 

as may be practicable, to proceed agreeably to the provi-

 

sions of the act, passed at November session, eighteen hun-

 

dred and twelve, entitled An act for the valuation of real and

 

personal property in the several counties of this state, to

 

re-value and re-assess the real and personal pioperty with-

 

in said county.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That the said commissioners

 

be, and they are hereby authorised to complete the said as-

 

sessment, and make return thereof agreeably to the provi-

 

sions of the forty -fifth section of the before recited act, on

 

or before the first day of August next, any law to the contra-

 

ry notwithstanding.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That John Mure, John Done-

named.

van, John Newton, Solomon Kirivan, and Thomas I. Patti-

 

son, be, and they are hereby appointed commiseioners of

 

the tax for Dorchester county, and are hereby authorised

 

and empowered to carry into effect and operation all the

 

provisions of this act, and the act of eighteen hundred and

 

twelve, entitled, An act for the valuation of real and person-

 

al property in the several counties of this state.
