eighteenth day of February, eighteen hundred and nine-
teen which are inconsistent with,, or repugnant to the pro-
visions of this act, be and the same are hereby repelled.

CHAP. 22.

 

CHAPTER 21

 

A supplement to the act entitled. An act for electing commis-
sioners for Harford county, and prescribing their powers
and duties, passed at December session, one thousand
eight hundred and twenty-seven.

Passed Jan. 19, 1832

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That all the citizens of Harford county, qualified to
vote for delegates to the general assembly, and also, having
the same qualifications as are, or shall be required, to entitle
them to vote, for such delegates, shall, on the first Monday
of October, eighteen hundred and thirty-four, and every
three years thereafter, vote by ballot, for five persons, one
of whom shall reside in each election district at the time of
the election, and those five persons receiving the greatest
number of legal votes and residing in each district as afore-
said, shall be declared duly elected commissioners of said
county.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the clerk to the said com-
sioners shall attend in his office every Tuesday in the
months of March, April, May, June, August, September,
October and November, and at all other times, when re-
quired by any of the citizens of said county.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That all such part or parts of
the original act to which this is a supplement, which re-
quires that each district shall elect one commissioner, be
and the same is hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 22.

 

An act supplementary to an act to provide for the payment of
Jurors of Harford county, passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and twenty-six, chapter one hundred and
three.

Passed Jan. 20, 1832

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the commissioners of Harford county, be,
and they are hereby required, to levy on the assessable

Levy for bailiffs.
