Town of Elkton, last summer, and to raise the road at the
South end of said bridge above tide water.
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the commissioners afore-
said shall not levy the sum of money aforesaid in one year,
but they shall levy, at tbeir levy for eighteen hundred and
thirty-two, the sum of five hundred dollars, and at the levy
for eighteen hundred and thirty-three, they shall levy the
remaining five hundred dollars.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That when the said sum and
sums are levied and collected, they shall be paid over to the
several contributors to building said bridge, in proportion to
the amount contributed by each one, until the whole be re-
funded; then the balance shall be, by direction of said com-
missioners, applied to the raising the road at the south end
of said bridge.

An act to authorise the Levy Court of Kent county, to levy, at
their next session, a sum of money therein mentioned, to be
applied to the enlargement and repair of the house in which
the offices of Clerk of the Court , and Register of Wills, of
said county, are kept and held.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the levy court of Kent county, be, and they are hereby au-
thorised, at their next session, to levy on the assessable pro-
perty of said county, a sum of money, not exceeding seven
hundred dollars, to be applied to the enlargement and repair
of the house in which the offices of clerk of the court, and
register of wills, of said county, are kept and held; under
the direction of such persons as the said levy court shall
designate and appoint, if, in the opinion of said court, such
enlargement and repair of the offices be proper and expe-
dient
