CHAP. 68.

LAWSr OF MARYLAND.
lawful for the said Henry Saint James Linden, at all times
hereafter, to be called an 1 known by, and hold and use the
name of, Henry Saint James Linden, and by the name of
Henry Saint James Linden to purchase, sell, convey or de-
mise, to sue and he sued, in any court of law or equity.

His acts con-
firmed.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That all securities, promises,
contracts, assurances, deeds, and lawful acts whatsoever,
hereafter to be made or done by or to the said James Ste-
phen Thompson, by the name of Henry Saint James Lin-
den, shall he of the same force and effect, and equally avail-
able to all intents and purposes, as if the name Henry
Saint James Linden had been his true and proper name.

Rights extend-
ed.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That all rights and privi-
leges which are now enjoyed by the said James Stephen
Thompson, and that all liabilities to which he is now sub-
ject, under the name of James Stephen Thompson, be and
the same are hereby continued and extended to him under
the name of Henry Saint James Linden.

CHAPTER 68.
An Act to authorise John D Daniels, of the City of
Baltimore, to lease certain Property therein menti-
oned.

ty-

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That John D. Daniels, of the city of Baltimore, be and he
is hereby authorised, to lease for any term or terms, in his
discretion, the whole or any part or parts of certain pieces
or parcels of ground, and their respective appurtenances,
situate and lying in the city of Baltimore, and which are
particularly described in the indentures of trust, the one
from William Bromwell, junior, and Eliza Bromwell his
wife, to Henry Didier, junior, dated the fifth day of May
eighteen hundred and twenty-one, and recorded among the
land records of Baltimore county in Liber W. G, No. 159?
folio 367, &c. and the other from John Murphy, and Pla-
cette his wife, to John Glenn, dated the thirteenth day of
April eighteen hundred and thirty, and recorded among
the records aforesaid in Liber W. G. No. 204, folio 151,

Proviso

&c Provided, that all and singular the rents created and
reserved by all and every such lease, be created and re-
served for the purposes, and upon the uses and trusts, de-
clared and set forth in the indentures aforesaid.
