An Act to alter and repeal so much of the tenth section
of an act passed at December session eighteen hun-
dred and twenty-nine, chapter eighty seven, as pro-
hibits the use of Oyster Tongs with more than six
teeth, so far as relates to the Eastern Shore.
|

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That so much of the above mentioned act as prohibits the
citizens or residents of the eastern shore of this state from
catching or taking oysters, or other shell-fish, in any of the
wators of said eastern shore, with tongs having more than
six teeth, be and the same is hereby repealed, annulled and
made void.

An Act to authorise and empower the Commissioners of
Cecil County to levy a sum of money, and rebuild a
Bridge over Big Elk Creek, in the tillage of Elkton,
on the. road leading past the site of the old Market*
House, towards Warwick in said County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the commissioners of Cecil county be
and they are hereby authorised and required, at their dis-
cretion, to levy on the assessable property in said county, a
sum of money sufficient for the rebuilding a bridge over
the Big Elk creek, on the road from the village of Elkton,
on the road leading past the site of the old Market-house,
owards Warwick, in said county.
