It the end of one year from the first regular quarter day
next after its issue.
Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That whensoever and as often
as any instalment or instalments of the state's said sub-
scriptions shall be demanded, according to the provisions
of the respective charters of the said companies, the said
treasurer be and he is hereby authorised to issue, in the
name and on the credit of the state, a certificate or certifi-
cates for so much of such stock as is herein before describ-

ed, as will raise the amount required to pay the said in-
stalment or instalments; Provided always, that he obtain
for every hundred dollars of such stock as much more than
a hundred dollars as the proposals so called for or any
other means shall enable him to secure*

An Act for the relief of Susanna Reeder, of Saint-
Mary's County.

.Passed Feb. 7.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Susanna Reeder, of Saint Mary's county,
be and she is hereby divorced from bed, board and mutual
cohabitation, with her husband James Reeder.

'Divorce grant-
ed.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said James Reeder
shall not, by virtue of his marriage with the said Susanna
Reeder, be authorised to have or claim any right or inte-
rest in the estate, real, personal or mixed, of the said Su-
sanna Reeder, whether acquired in any manner whatever
before or after the passage of this act; nor shall Susanna
Reeder be authorised to have or claim any right or interest
in the estate, real, personal or mixed, of the said James
Reeder, whether acquired in any manner whatever before
or after the passage of this act.

Claims annul-
led.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the said Susanna
Reeder shall have and exercise all the rights, privileges
and immunities, and be subject to all the legal responsibi-
lities of a feme sole, in the same manner she would have
been if she had never been married.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the aforesaid Susanna
Reeder be, and she is hereby declared to be entitled to the
custody and guardianship of her child during his minority.
