No. 54.
A Resolution providing for the payment of Accounts fop
Newspapers furnished the Members of the Legislature.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the western shore pay to George G. Brow-
er chief clerk of the house of delegates, and Louis Gassa-
wav chief clerk of the senate, out of any unappropriated
money in the treasury, the several amounts of such accounts
as may, from time to time, be presented to him by said
clerks, for the newspapers they may have furnished for the
use of the members of their respective houses, in accord-
ance with the orders adopted for that purpose by said houses.

A Resolution in favour of Isaac Hooper, of Calvert Coun-
ty-
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the amount due the state from Isaac Hooper, of Calvert
county, be and the same is hereby released, except such
sum as may have been paid by him to the sheriff of said
county.

A Resolution in favour of Catherine Plane, of Anne-Arun-
del County.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the western shore pay to Catharine Plane,
of Anne-Arundel county, (widow of Jacob Plane, who was
a soldier in the revolutionary war,) or to her order, during
her widowhood, in quarter yearly payments, a sum of
money equal to the half pay of a private, in consideration
of the services of her late husband.
