A Resolution in favour of Joshua Ruth, who is confined
in the Jail of Frederick County.
Resolved, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the sheriff of Frederick county he and he is hereby au-
thorised and required, to discharge from imprisonment
Joshua Ruth, charged with being the father of an illegiti-
mate child, provided he be not in custody for any other
offence, nor on any civil process.

A Resolution directing the Clerk of the Council to adver-
tise that Proposals will be received for furnishing Sta-
tionary for the Executive and Legislature.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the clerk of the council be directed to give notice, by ad-
vertisement, for at least three consecutive weeks, before the
first day of November next, and annually thereafter, in
three newspapers in the citv of Baltimore, two in the city
of Frederick, and two in the city of Annapolis, that sealed
proposals will he received by them until the last Monday
in December following, for furnishing the necessary sta-
tionary for the use of the executive and legislative depart-
ments of the government for the ensuing year, and that the
said proposals be transmitted to the legislature at the com-
mencement of the next ensuing session.

the treasurer of the western shore pay to George Britton,
