No. 6.
A Resolution in favour of Thomas Jenkins, of the District
of Columbia.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the western shore, be and he is hereby
directed and required, to pay to Thomas Jenkins, of the
District of Columbia, a revolutionary soldier, or to his or-
der, during life, half yearly payments, a sum of money
equal to the half pay of a private, as a further remunera-
tion for his services during the revolutionary war.

No. 7.
A Resolution in favour of the Attorney General of this
State.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of western shore be and he is hereby au-
thorised and required, to pay to the order of the Attorney
General of this State, the sum of two hundred and fifty
dollars, as a compensation for services performed by him
in pursuance of the resolution of the General Assembly of
December session eighteen hundred and twenty-eight, num-
ber twenty- six.

Resolution authorising the Governor to procure and pre-
sent to Captain George W. Rogers a Sword, as further
evidence of the high sense the Legislature entertain for
the Services he has rendered his Country.
Resolved unanimously, That the general assembly of
Maryland entertain a high sense of the gallantry of George
W. Rogers, a native of this state, and a Captain in the Na-
vy of the United States, as displayed in the brilliant and
well fought action, during the late war, between the United
