CHAPTER 169.
A Supplement to the act, entitled, An act for the dis-
patch of business in Frederick County Court, passed
at December session eighteen hundred and twenty-
nine, chapter one hundred and seven.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That from and afier the passage of this act, it
shall be the duty of the judges of Frederick county court,
to adjourn the February and October terms of said court,
both before and after the May and December terms of said
court, in the same manner they have been in the habit of
adjourning the February and October terms of said court,
before the passage of the law to which this is a supplement.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That upon a petition for a
road being filed with the clerk of Frederick county court,
any judge of said court may appoint commissioners, and
the clerk of said court shall issue a commission as now pre-
scribed by law in road cases, during the recess of the
court.
Sec. 3. And whereas, doubts are entertained by some as
to the construction and operation of the act, to which this
is a supplement, in relation to the extent of the liability oi
insolvent debtors, and their securities, upon bonds execut-
ed by such insolvent debtors, upon their application for the
benefit of the insolvent laws, in cases of insolvency, which
were pending before the Frederick county court at the
time of the passage of the law to which this is a supple-
ment, and which cases of insolvency have been transmitted
to the May and December terms oi said county court, there
to be acted upon by said court, by virtue of said original

act; therefore, Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That any creditor cr creditors of any such in
solvent debtor, shall be entitled to the same remedy upon
any such insolvent debtor's bond, and to the same extent,
in cases of default or neglect to appear in said county court
to answer the allegations of his creditors, as they would or
might have been entitled to before the passage of the act tc
which this is a supplement, and that no suit now pending,
or hereafter to be instituted upon any such insolvent debt-
or's bond, in the Frederick county court, shall in any man-
ner be defeated by reason of any defect, omission, or in-
formality in the act to which this is a supplement.
