Sec. 3. And be it enacted. That any act or the par; of
any act inconsistent with or repugnant to, this act be and
the same is hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 127.
An act, entitled, A supplement to the act passed at De-
cember session eighteen hundred and twenty-five, re-
lating to the Inspection of Flour in the City of Bal-
timore.

Rates for in-
specting flour.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the first day of April next, it shall not
be lawful for any inspector of flour in the city of Baltimore
to ask, demand or receive, more than one cent for each
barrel or half barrel so inspected, under the penalty of
twenty dollars for every offence so committed, the same to
be recovered before a justice of the peace as other small
debts are, one half to the informer, and the other half to
the state, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.

CHAPTER 128.
A Supplement to an act, entitied, An Act to authorise
the Levy Court of Frederick County to appoint Com-
missioners for the purposes therein mentioned.

valid.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the authorised acts of the commissioners
appointed under an act of assembly at December session
eighteen hundred and twenty-five, chapter sixty-two, enti-
tled, An act to authorise the levy court of Frederick coun-
ty to appoint commissioners for the purposes therein men-
tioned, shall be, and the same are hereby declared valid
and good to all intents and purposes.

Sec 2. And be it enacted, That the levy court of Fre-
derick county are hereby authorised and required, to ap-
point an assessor, owning no assessable property in said
