Mr. Steiner, from a Select Committee reported favorably a bill
entitled "An Act to repeal section 1, of an Act passed January
Session, 1872, chapter 320, entitled an Act for the protection
of Black Bass and all other fish in the Monocacy River and
its tributares within the limits of Frederick county, and to
re-enact said section 1, with amendments."

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Fields moved to reconsider the vote by which the Sen-
ate bill entitled "An Act to add additional sections -to Article
LXXV. of the Code of Public General Laws, sub-title
'Practice,' enabling the plaintiff in any judgment to acquire
a lien on the judgment debtors property in another county
or in the city of Baltimore, where judgment was not origi-
nally obtained, to follow section 83 of said Article," was
postponed until Thursday.

Which was adopted.

Said bill being on second reading,

Mr. Brattan submitted the following amendment:

In 83 c. section, 6th line, after the word "notice," insert
the words "often days before advertising said property."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

The unfavorable report of the Committee on Finance, upon
the bill entitled "An Act for the relief qf the Cambridge
Female Seminary,"

Being under consideration,

Mr. Phelps moved to substitute the bill for the Unfavorable
report.

On motion by Mr. Fields,

Further consideration of the report was postponed, and the
bill ordered to lay over.

The hour of 1 o'clock, having arrived, the Senate proceeded
to the consideration of the order of the day,

Being the Senate bill entitled "An Act supplementary to
an Act, passed at January Session, 1867, chapter 247," en-
titled "An Act to establish and incorporate an Asylum for
the Deaf and Dumb;" and also an Act passed at January
Session, 1868, chapter 409, entitled "An Act to amend and
