The House bill entitled an Act to purchase copies of the
the Law and Rules of the Land Office, and to make an appro-
priation to pay for the same.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported un-
favorably on

The House bill entitled an Act to pay to S. J. Dawson,
enrolling and mustering officer in the year 1868, a sum of
money.

Which was adopted.
Also, reported favorably

The House bill entitled an Act to refund to Francis Neale
& Sons, of Baltimore, for the benefit of John Parsons,
Samuel Cox and others, monies erroneously paid by them, for
outage and storage on tobacco.

Which was read the second time.
Also, reported favorably

The House bill entitled an Act to refund to Jer. Dyer and
others, monies erroneously paid for storage and outage on
tobacco.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Tuck, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 20 of Ar-
ticle XXVIII. of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"County Commissioner," sub-title "Roads," and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Williams, from the Committee on Corporations re-
ported favorably

The House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Balti-
more and Annapolis Railroad Company.

Which was read the second time.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the taxation
of the property of railroad companies, in this State, for
county and municipal purposes.

Being on third reading,

Mr. Carroll submitted the following amendment:

"Provided, that nothing in this Act shall be construed as
to render the Bridge over the Susquehannah River subject to
taxation."
