Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

Knight, Williams,

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.
At 12 o'clock mid-night, the Senate adjourned.

SATURDAY, April 4th, 1874.
The Senate met at 10.30 o'clock, A. M.
Prayer by Rev. Mr. ————.
Present at roll call the following Senators:

Messrs. President, Aydelott, Blake, Brewer, Billingsley,
Crawford, Claggett, Davis, Denson, Earle, Fields, Getty,
Knight, Longwell, Lloyd, Mudd, McCulloh, Phelps, Stevens,
Steiner, Spencer, Suit, Tuck, Williams, Walsh—25.

The proceedings of yesterday were read and approved.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following House bills :

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore, to purchase and buy out the stock
and interest of the Baltimore City Passenger Railway Com-
pany, together with such appurtenances belonging to said
railway as the said Mayor and City Council may deem proper.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Balti-
more City Senators,
