NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

Mr. Tuck moved that the roll call to morrow, commence
with the Senator from St. Mary's, being next in order.

OFFICE OF THE SECERETARY OF THE SENATE,

ANNAPOLIS, April 2nd, 1874.

The following Act of Assembly, was this day presented to
His Excellency the Governor, for his approval.

No. 220, an Act to enable the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore to subscribe to the amount of five hundred thous-
and dollars, to the capital stock of the Washington City and
Point Lookout Rail Road Company.

The Senate at 11.40 o'clock, P. M., adjourned.

FRIDAY, April 3rd, 1874.

The Senate met at 10.30 o'clock, A. M.

Prayer by Rev. Father Oberley.

Present at roll call the following Senators :

Messrs. President, Aydelott, Blake, Brewer, Billingsley,
Crawford, Claggett, Davis, Denson, Earle, Fields, Getty,
Knight, Longwell, Lloyd, Mudd, McCulloh, Phelps, Stevens,
Steiner, Spencer, Suit, Tuck, Williams, Walsh—25.

The proceedings of yesterday were read and approved.

Mr. Steiner presented the remonstrance of certain dealers
in live stock, against the sale of any portion of the land be-
longing to the State, at the State Live Stock Scales,
