On motion by Mr. Phelps,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Phelps, Fields and Claggett
to report a bill to provide for the appointment of an addi-
tional Justice of the Peace for East New Market District, in
the county of Dorchester, and that the additional Justice of
the Peace, if appointed, shall reside in the town of East New
Market, in the county aforesaid.

On motion by Mr. Davis,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Davis, Billingsley and Ste-
vens to report a bill for the protection of insectivorous birds
in Baltimore county.

On motion by Mr. Blake,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, to report a bill relative to conveyancing, by adding to
Article XXIV. section 25, of the Code of Public General
Laws.

On motion by Mr. Stevens,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to enlarge and de-
fine the powers of 'The Boys Home Society of Baltimore.' "

On motion by Mr. Steiner,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill entitled "An Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Frederick county, to review and correct the
valuation of the lands in said county, assessed to John W.
Dutrow."
