Mr. Tuck, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably

The Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the appoint-
ment of counsel to represent the State, in the matter of Arbi-
tration on the Boundary Line, and to appropriate a sum of
money to pay the expenses of such Arbitration.

Which were read the first time.

Mr. Tuck presented the petition of sundry citizens of
Prince George's county, remonstrating against the passage
of the bill authorizing the Commissioners of said county to
issue bonds in aid of the Washington and Point Lookout
Rail Road Company.

The Senate proceeded to the consideration of the order of
the day, being

The House bill entitled an Act in relation to the extension
of the limits of Baltimore city.

Mr. Davis submitted the following amendment:

Section 4, line 2, between the word "to" and the word
"cause," insert: ''Appoint two Commissioners, and the
County Commissioners of Baltimore county shall appoint one
Commissioner, and it shall be the duty of said Commis-
sioners."
