AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend the title of the bill by inserting after the words
"Washington County," "and Jesse K. Hines, late Clerk of
the Circuit Court for Kent county."

And after the word "in," strike out "his," and insert
" their, "and strike out the word ''office'' and insert "offices."'

And strike out the word "his" and insert "them."

Section 1, line 3, after the word "county," insert the words
"and Jesse K. Hines, late Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Kent county."

Line 6, section I, strike out the word "his," and insert
"their."

The Senate bill entitiled an Act to regulate the fares of the
Passenger Railways, in the city of Baltimore, and to repeal
certain sections of the charter of the City Passenger Railway
Company, relating to the fares and to the Park Tax,

Being on third reading,

Mr. Williams moved that the further discussion of
the bill be postponed until after the disposition of the order
of the day, set for 8 o'clock, P. M., this day.

Mr. Stevens moved an amendment, to postpone the bill
Until after the order of the day for Wednesday, the 1st day
of April.

Which was rejected.
