Mr. Walsh, from the Committee on Agriculture, reported
favorably

The House bill entitled an Act to provide for the taxation
of dogs, in Montgomery and Washington counties.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Davis moved that the order of the day be postponed
a half hour, and to take up

The Senate bill entitled an Act to establish and regulate
the Maryland Insane Asylum.

Which was adopted by yeas and nays as follows :

Mr. Stevens moved that it be referred to the Committee on
Finance.

Mr. Stevens asked leave for the Committee on Corporations
to report a bill entitled an Act to change the name of "The
South Baltimore Chemical Works," incorporated by chapter
— of 1864, to that of "The Chappell Chemical and Fertili-
ser Company.
