The Senate bill entitled an Act to provide remedy at law
for the recovery of debts due from married women.

Which was read the second time and ordered to be engross-
ed for a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled au Act to repeal section 2 of Arti-
cle XXXVII. of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Evidence,'' sub-title "Competency of Witnesses," as amend-
ed by the Act of January Session, 1868, chapter 116, and to
amend and re-enact the same,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Article XXI. of
section 7, of an Act entitled an Act to create State Banking
Institutions, and to enable the several banks of this State
(State and National) to avail of the provisions thereof, passed
at January Session, 1870, chapter 206, and to impose a tax
on the issue of notes put in circulation by State Banks and
Banking Institutions,

Being on its second reading.
